Plan for Long-Term Care Early

The oldest Baby Boomer is now 76 years old.

Two of their biggest worries is running out of money and health care. By now, they know what their income is but they don’t know what their health care needs will become. Will their children or friends take care of them? Will they need to go to a nursing home? Will their spouse stay healthy enough to help?

As the link to the WJS post articulates, care givers are in short supply. The cost of care is going up, and people with money will received better care.

Their adult children ought to take a lesson. While they are in their 40’s and 50’s plan for Long-Term care early with appropriate legal documents and a plan to pay for their long-term care.
